Non-Farm Payrolls increased less than expected by 114K in September

The unemployment rate unexpectedly dropped  to 7.8%. Unemployment rate was at 8.1% in August.  The question that needs to be answered is the rate lower because there is more unemployed that stopped looking and fell off benefits. Remember  unemployment is based on those collecting benefits.
