WOLF Research Note — Margin Proof Still Missing

CAMS — WOLF Research Note July 30, 2026
CAMS — WOLF Research Note July 30, 2026

Wolfspeed's share price fell to $20.06, but the lower price does not repair the operating ledger. Revenue was down 19% year over year, the latest quarterly gross margin was near negative 27%, and an early-July issuance of roughly 24 million shares approximately doubled the post-reorganization float.

The next report has to connect higher Mohawk Valley utilization with less-negative gross margin and no fresh dilution. The working date is August 27, though the supplied sources conflict. CAMS is treating that date as an estimate until the company confirms it.

The full Level 2+ review examines the internal debate, factory economics, valuation scenarios and the evidence that would change the thesis. Read the gated WOLF Deep Coverage Review or join CAMS Premium Research.
