Bank of America’s earnings record is strong. The tape now asks for more proof. The company has exceeded quarterly earnings expectations eight times in a row, while Q2 net income rose 27% from a year earlier. Sales and trading revenue increased 33%, and investment-banking revenue rose 50%.
That breadth sits against a stretched structure. BAC traded near $62.62 with RSI at 70.9, a fresh bearish MACD divergence and price 17.6% above the 200-day average. Financials still lead the market, but the next evidence must come from sustained net-interest-income growth, orderly credit and price confirmation rather than another expansion in expectations.
